01 Dec How to Visualize Success
Did you know that so much of wealth and success is contributed to our thoughts and beliefs? When we approach money from a negative point of view, we distance ourselves from personal wealth and financial freedom. If you aren't making an effort to know how to visualize success, you are subconsciously shutting yourself out of money-making opportunities.
Remind yourself that money is not a bad thing and cannot cause problems. In fact, money is entirely neutral. Only people can cause problems. Money simply makes you more of what you already are. That is to say, it can enhance the person that you are and allow you to do more of what you do best. If you put yourself and your skills into the world, the money will come. It always does. But, if you approach money with fear and believe that it has to be tough, you’re allowing yourself to exist in the struggle. Instead, think about your goals. The money already exists – you just have to visualize what you want to create and put it out there.
The tips we recommend below are a great starting point and we delve deeper into visualizing success in our 31-day Money Makeover inside our Wicked Smart Academy (members: Click here to access it)

How Do You Visualize What You Want to Create?
When your conscious and subconscious minds are in alignment, money will flow to you. To get there, you need to change the way you view wealth and money. To start reshaping the way you view money, there are two different approaches you can take. We go into detail on these approaches on our 31-Day Money Makeover, but here you can get a general overview of what you need to do.
Recite the 3 Important Money Principles:
- Money does not cause problems. Money is neutral. It does not care where it goes.
- Your money life is an exact reflection of your personal life
- You don’t have to make money. The money is already made. You just have to put your skills into the world that’s best for you and will change your money life.
Utilize Money Affirmations
An affirmation is a statement of belief. Believe it or not, you make affirmations every single day that you aren’t conscious about. When you look at something and say “that’s too hard” or “I’ll never be able to do that,” you are saying affirmations. Unfortunately, when you speak negative affirmations like these aloud, you reinforce them into our subconscious mind and carry out these negative beliefs. When you are constantly telling yourself that you can’t do something, it becomes harder for your brain to provide solutions to make it happen.
Instead, you need to put positive thoughts and affirmations into your mind consciously. When you do this, you subconsciously seek out more opportunities, which allows you to grow quicker, both personally and professionally. These are three affirmations that will help you envision what you want to create when it comes to your wealth. You can either say them aloud, write them down, or do both.
- I deserve to be wealthy
- I am now highly pleasing in the presence of other people
- I am fearless
Repeat these affirmations to yourself every day to help reprogram your mind away from negative thoughts.
Get Used to Spending Money on Yourself
To really get into the money mindset, allow your brain to get used to spending money on yourself. For this exercise, you won’t actually be spending any real money. But, by thinking through what you would invest in yourself, you are recreating the neuro pathways in your brain to get used to spending on yourself.
For this exercise, each day, write down $1,000 that you will spend on yourself. This cannot be used toward other people, paying down debt, paying for your business, etc. You have to use this money for yourself. We choose $1,000 because it’s an amount that our subconscious minds can easily understand and quantify. By doing this for a month or so, you start to get used to the idea of investing in yourself. You’ll learn a lot about the vision you want to create for your life and will be able to act accordingly moving forward.
