When is the event taking place?

Our general session is September 13 & 14, 2023 and we’ll be having an Associate Only Development Day on Friday, September 15, 2023.

When should I arrive?

We will not be having any pre-event festivities this year. Each morning, we’ll open up the lobby roughly one hour prior to the start of the event. It’s a great way to have your morning coffee and chat with other attendees before the day kicks off!

Can I bring a spouse or a guest?

Sure! If you're going to be joining us in person, just reach out to someone on our support team ( and ask for a guest pass.

Is there a block rate available for rooms?

There is! Call the Wyndham Newport Hotel at (401) 236-2020 and mention either “Wicked Smart” or “Smart Real Estate Coach” when making your reservation in order to claim the group discount.

Though, if you're an Academy student and we don't have a coaching relationship, you should instead rely on projecting confidence with what you've learned from our seller scripts.

Do I have to stay at the Wyndham Newport Hotel? Is there other lodging in the area?

You’re free to stay wherever you like for the duration of the event, as there are plenty of choices in both Newport and Middletown, though we can only speak to the quality of the Wyndham and will not be offering transportation to and from any of the other hotels.

I’m flying in for the event. Where should I land?

The closest airport is T.F. Green International in Warwick, RI. The event is located roughly 30 miles south of there and accessible via Uber or Lyft.

What is your policy in the event of a COVID-19 cancellation?

As you probably know, we can't predict what the market is going to do long-term. Though, the funny thing is that when people talk about the “market,” they don't take into consideration that it is made up of thousands of small markets spread all across the country. All of those markets will be affected individually and at different times for different reasons.

Should QLS Live 2023’s in-person event on September 13-15 be cancelled for any reason relating to hotel conference space closure, government shutdown or a company decision for health and safety reasons, your ticket(s) will be honored at either the makeup date or for a potential virtual presentation on/following the advertised date(s). At this time (March 15, 2023), we are not anticipating any form of cancellation, nor are we making arrangements for a web-based event. We look forward to seeing you in Newport, RI this September!
